Scalable Fonts, Presets, AMOLED Protection, and More!
I’m thrilled to announce a major overhaul across my entire library of Garmin watch faces. Whether you’re a long-time supporter or a newcomer to my designs, this update brings a more polished, efficient, and flexible experience to your wrist.
Here is a look at what’s new:
- Crystal Clear Text with Scalable Fonts
Say goodbye to fixed font sizes. By implementing Garmin’s latest scalable font technology, my watch faces now offer much better readability. - Enhanced AMOLED Burn-in Protection
For those of you rocking the latest AMOLED displays (like the Epix, Venu, or Fenix 8 series), I’ve integrated advanced burn-in protection modes.
You can choose between reducing the pixel density, the elements on the screen and reducing the brightness of the overall watch face. - Now Free to Start
I want everyone to be able to enjoy these designs. That’s why all watch faces are now free for the basic version. You can download, install, and use the core features of any watch face in my collection at no cost. For power users who want deep customization—such as advanced weather data, extra complications, or premium color themes—those remain available through an optional paid one-time upgrade. - Expanded Device Support
I’ve worked hard to ensure these updates cover the absolute latest in Garmin hardware. I am happy to confirm full support for all recent watch models including the latest addition, the D2 Mach 2 aviator watch.

Are your existing watch faces upgradable or do I need to uninstall and reinstall the new face with updates?
The watch faces will be updated automatically through the Connect IQ app unless you have disabled automatic updates in the app. If the update is queued in the installation queue in the Connect IQ app and does not install restart the Connect IQ app by closing it with the taskmanager of your phone or restart your phone.
I have already paid ffor a number of your watch faces – Fenix 7Pro, MARQ Athlete2,MARQ captain gen2, MARQ golfer2 carbon, Midnight Stealth, Turquiose, do I need to pay again to retain ability to modify?? If so – a single fee on one for each????
Most of these I am getting a continual “updating” message in my Garmin IQ App and no link to settings.

Thank you for supporting my apps, I appreciate it a lot! You do not need to pay again for the update. When the Connect IQ app is stuck in the updating or installing state simply restart both your phone and your watch. This is a bug in the Connect IQ app and a restart will resolve the issue in 99% of the cases.
